Tip Tuesday! A picture is worth 1K words in PLM 360

Sure, you’ve set up lots of the usual field types when setting up your PLM 360 tenant – single line text, dates, integers.  But don’t forget about some of the lesser known ones – images, email, hyperlinks.  Adding an  image is a great way to spruce up your workspaces and takes mere seconds to configure.  Once you’ve created you ‘image’ type field, the end user gets the ability to upload:

Internally, we use this field type when reporting issues or doing feature request mock-ups; sometimes it easier for me to show the development team with a screen cap what’s wrong or an idea for a change than babbling on and on (not that I ever do that!).

Find out lots more about Field Types in PLM 360 by attending our PLM Talk this Wednesday (register here, or if you miss it, I’ll post the recording).  ^MS
